  Programme Name

Summary of Funding   Small grants are available for heritage-based projects (among a significantly broader range of charitable objectives).  As regards the built heritage, the emphasis of the Settlement's grant making activity is focused on churches (and, in principle, cathedrals) with very little going to historic buildings.

Small grants are awarded to charities, voluntary bodies and organisations (including schools).  No applications from individuals are considered.

  Further Information

AHF Comment   Although the Settlement is active, it keeps a relatively low profile.  In view of its broad range of charitable interests, and in the absence of detailed information from the Settlement itself regarding the profile of its charitable giving (other than stating that its principal historic building focus is on churches) this funding source should be viewed as something of a "long shot" - but none-the-less worth pursuing for projects based in Northamptonshire.
