	Programme Name

	Summary of Funding		The main objects of the Foundation are: • to assist with grants for the repair of old buildings which are open to the public, and are within the counties of Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire or Northamptonshire; and • also the conservation of monuments, tombs, hatchments, memorial brasses etc and other related purposes, without territorial restriction.

	Eligible Applicants		Charitable organisations and religious establishments only; preference is given to churches. No applications from individuals are accepted.

	Geographical Coverage		Principally Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire (for structural repairs to churches and their contents). However there are no geographical restrictions on church monument projects.

	Eligibility Criteria		In so far as ecclesiastical buildings are concerned, assistance is given towards fabric repairs, conservation of monuments, fittings and other contents, but not to domestic items such as electric wiring, heating, improvements or re-ordering.

	Other Considerations		The buildings must be open to the public.

	Amount		Normally £500 - £5,000. More for exceptional works.

	Form of Payment		Full grant on completion.

	Timetable		The Trustees meet three times each year to consider grant applications. Applications take up to six months to process.
