| Summary of Funding | Carbon Trust is a commercial initiative, which receives its funding from a number of institutional investors and other sources, the larget of which is the Government (Defra, and the devolved regional assemblies). Its mission is to accelerate the move to a low carbon economy now and develop low carbon technologies for the future. In addition to advice on good practice, the Trust offers access to interest-free loans and capital allowances for energy saving projects carried out by approved contractors. |
